Start with the exact model, not the family name
Art televisions can share a visual idea while using different connection systems. Samsung’s current Frame design page describes wired, wireless, and built-in approaches. It specifies that Wireless One Connect is for compatible Frame Pro models, and that the television still needs its own power connection. Check the product page and manual for the size, year, and model you intend to buy.
That distinction affects cabinet placement, power planning, and the work needed behind the television. “Wireless” should not be interpreted as permission to ignore the power supply or the manufacturer’s placement requirements.
Design the whole wall
Try a full-size outline with the bezel you prefer. Think about the relation to nearby artwork, the console, the sofa, and daylight. Decide whether the room is primarily a viewing space or an art display wall that also shows television. This makes the tradeoffs easier to discuss before installation.
A thin mount makes wall details matter. Socket depth, wall flatness, cable bend space, and compatible fixings can affect how the final set sits. Ask the installer to review those conditions using the product’s mounting instructions.
Give the connection equipment a practical home
If your chosen model has a separate connection box, allow ventilation and access. You may need to connect a console, change a streaming device, or service a cable later. For a wireless connection system, evaluate the manufacturer’s distance and obstruction limits in the real room. A closed metal cabinet can be a poor location for equipment that relies on a wireless signal.
- Confirm whether the mounting hardware is included with your exact purchase.
- Identify the power point and the approved cable route.
- Plan space for source devices, ventilation, and maintenance.
- Check whether artwork services or accessories require separate purchases.
Ask for the finished result you want
A helpful installation request describes the visible result: a level set, a planned cable route, a clear equipment location, and a tested picture and sound connection. Include the model number and photos of the wall. This gives the installer a concrete brief and reduces assumptions about what “flush” or “hidden” means in your home.
A couple of useful answers.
Does a wireless art TV still need power?
Yes. Samsung’s Wireless One Connect guidance states that a compatible television requires a separate power connection.
Do all Frame models have the same connection box?
No. Confirm the connection system for the exact year, size, and model before buying or planning an installation.
