Give the big picture
a little perspective.
Estimate picture dimensions, your viewing angle, and a starting screen position. Then confirm your exact model and room conditions.
Estimates for a 16:9 picture. Bezel, stand, and mounting clearances are additional. Verify the exact model dimensions.
Measure. Outline. Sit down.
Use the slider to choose a diagonal size. Tape the picture dimensions on your wall and try the view from your usual seat. Keep furniture, a soundbar, and ventilation in the plan.
What the numbers mean
For a 16:9 picture, width = diagonal × 16 ÷ √337, and height = diagonal × 9 ÷ √337. The viewing angle comes from the picture width and distance. These are geometric estimates, not a product measurement or a comfort recommendation.
Bezel dimensions, TV depth, brackets, wall conditions, and actual seated posture need separate checks. Read the TV size guide ↗
